IntelliCorp states that it offers the most complete and reliable date repository of nationwide criminal records, driving records, and other public information. For Synod of the Sun or related entity, the rate to perform a nation-wide criminal background check on each person is $9.95. This is less than half the expected cost of finding a different service and signing up separately. Any background check, criminal or otherwise, is never to be run on anyone who has not provided written permission by signing a release form. Other background checks, including vehicular records, are available at different rates. Vehicular checks require that such a release be submitted to IntelliCorp. Releases for criminal background checks should simply be retained in a secure location by the entity performing the check.
